I ran a slow 6:03 in this marathon that started at 5 pm from the University of Alberta's Butterdome in a hot 31 degrees.  Runners were treated to very scenic views of Edmonton's North Saskatchewan river valley and a look at some attractive neighbourhoods.  For much of the race I was running with the lively Back of the Pack running group who carried a ladder around the course.
